Coco | Fashion Illustrations | Art

Posted: Monday, 31 August 2009 | Posted by Oana V. | Labels: , 0 comments

I’m so thrilled for having discovered brilliant fashion illustrator Coco who works as a freelancer for a respectable variety of designers and fashion-focused magazines like Vogue Magazine, Dazed & confused, Nylon Japan, Plastique & Bon magazine. Having studied Fine Arts in Paris and working as a Communication Consultant for many fashion designers, she shes very likely to have a unique approach to her work. Her collection is an incredibly well combined assortment of aquarelle painting, drawing and ceramics before designing the final image digitally. I’m stunned and in love with her work. Click here to view her portfolio.

Everyone enjoy this Monday!

Sabine Pieper – Fashion Illustrator

Posted: Thursday, 13 August 2009 | Posted by Oana V. | Labels: , , , 3 comments

Ever since I viewed these magnificent illustrations by Sabine Pieper, I’m all obsessed with them. The German artist lives and works in Berlin as a photographer and freelance illustrator. Her drawings are inspired by fashion and glance through soft, fluent and redeemed compositions. Her work is truly breathtaking and has drawn the attention from the Art & Fashion magazine Dazed & Confused’s online edition, Dazed Digital to the point that her blog, which presents her artwork, has been shortlisted for the Dazed Raw Blog Awards  in the Fashion Category, with the words: “In each and every artwork you can feel a special deepness. The technique and quality is brilliant.”

The voting period has begun and will close on August 31st. Personally I will be voting for her and I wish her the best luck. I suggest you head over and cast your vote for your favourite.
